The City of Lodi has about 25 employees and is an equal opportunity employer. Policy is developed by the Human Resources Committee, a standing committee of the Common Council, and adopted by the Council.
GovHR USA, LLC, a public sector management consulting firm, was retained to conduct a classification and compensation study for the City of Lodi and Lodi Utilities in 2014. By conducting this study, the City's goal was to determine if there were any inaccuracies or inequities in the way employees were being compensated, and thereby accomplish the following objectives:
Assure that equal pay is provided for equal work; and
Produce a pay plan that is both internally equitable and externally competitive.
