About the Mayor

Our Mayor's Service

The mayor of the city serves a two-year term, chairs the Common Council meetings, and serves as executive officer of the city.

Mayor Ann Groves Lloyd was elected in April 2020. She is a lifelong resident of the Lodi area and served on the Utilities Commission for nearly 10 years. Additionally, she served as a council member for five years prior to her election as Mayor. 

Mayor Groves Lloyd received her bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she worked for 30 years until her retirement in 2018.
  While at the university, she served as the Director of Career Services and Associate Dean for Student Academic Affairs in the College of Letters & Science. She was also an academic advisor for incoming students. Mayor Groves Lloyd has served in leadership positions for many non-profit and service organizations, including the UW-Madison Student Personnel Association, the Wisconsin College Personnel Association, the American College Personnel Association, the Wisconsin Ag & Life Sciences Alumni Association, the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Lodi Library Board, the EMS Commission, and the Lodi Optimist Club.
