Election Information

The following elections will take place in 2020:    

  • February 18, 2020: Spring Primary
  • April 7, 2020: Spring Election & Presidential Preference Primary
  • August 11, 2020: Partisan Primary
  • November 3, 2020 : General Election

There will be three local offices on the ballot for the 2020 Spring Election: Mayor (two year term) and three Council Members at-large (two year term). There are three forms required to be filed with the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 to be included on the spring ballot. Nomination papers (signatures) may not be circulated before December 1, 2019. Please contact the City Clerk with any questions on the required forms.

Voter Registration Information

Are you registered to vote in 2020? If not, register online. Proof of residence is required.

Have you moved since the last time you voted? If so, please re-register with your new address.

If you would like to arrange for an absentee ballot, please email your local clerk or stop by City Hall.

Working at the Polls

The City of Lodi is always looking for individuals to serve their community as poll workers. The appointment is for two years and requires training in the voting process. Please contact the City Clerk for an application and details.
