The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting to fill hundreds of thousands of temporary positions across the country to assist with the 2020 Census Count.
The Census is an important tool that provides the basis for reappointing congressional seats, redistricting, and distributing millions of dollars in federal funding to support state, county and community programs. The City of Lodi Common Council passed a resolution on December 18, 2019 to partner with the U.S. Census Bureau.
You can become a part of the Census. For a rate of around $17 per hour plus mileage, you can become a Census worker in your community. Additional information and application materials are available through the U.S. Census Bureau.
If you prefer to speak with a representative, Thomas Vergeront will be available at the Lodi Public Library every Wednesday from 12 noon-2 pm now through the end of February.
