City of Lodi Hires Two New Employees

The City of Lodi is excited to announce two outstanding employee additions: Terry Weter and Brenda Ayers.

Terry Weter joined the city as the Director of Operations on June 1. Terry brings with him nearly 30 years of municipal experience including oversight of water, wastewater, and electric utilities, road projects, parks, safety management, and extensive operating and capital budget development and oversight. Terry’s responsibilities include oversight of the city’s three utilities, as well as the public works and parks departments.

On July 7, Brenda Ayers will become the City Clerk. Brenda is currently the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer for the Town of Burke where she has worked for the past 12 years. Brenda’s 19 years of experience as a municipal clerk include administering over 50 elections, extensive resolution and ordinance writing, and budget preparation. Brenda will be responsible for the city’s records management, meeting agendas and minutes, elections, and licensing.
