Occupation: Owner/ Operator of Graphite to Green, LLC - Landscape Design Build Company; Horticulture Educator for UW-Madison Extension - Sauk County
Board, Commission, and/or Council Experience: This is my first opportunity to serve the community on the Common Council.
What prompted your interest to serve on the Common Council?: As a child, I often visited my great grandparents in Lodi, and I have fond memories exploring the creek and downtown with my many cousins. Then, over 14 years ago, my wife and I chose Lodi as the place we wanted to raise our family. Since that time, we have bought an home from 1868 that we have been making our own. We are also raising our three children, operating a couple of small businesses, and have been establishing roots in the community through friendships and community involvement. As those roots go deeper, I am hopeful that my involvement with the Common Council will have a small, but direct, impact on the future of this small town and the community that we call "home."
Relevant Experience, Qualifications, and Skills: I am a small business owner in Lodi for over 13 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in environmental design, horticulture, and some experience in urban planning.
Civic Involvement: I have been involved in coaching youth sports including baseball, basketball, and football in Lodi for the past seven years. My family and I support the local outreach groups, charities, and volunteer through various local organizations. I have also been a member of the Lodi & Lake Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
