The Spring Primary will take place Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Lodi City Hall, 130 S Main Street. The polls will be open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Ballots will be mailed to voters with an absentee ballot request on file. Absentee ballots can be returned one of the following ways:
- Mail the ballot back in the postage paid envelope.
- Deliver your own ballot to the city clerk's office.
- Bring your own ballot to the polling place by 8:00 PM on Election Day. (This option is not recommended.)
In-Person Absentee Voting
In-person absentee voting will begin Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at City Hall during regular business hours. Please remember to bring an acceptable form of photo ID. In-person absentee voting will end Friday, February 17, 2023 at 5:00 PM. There will be no in-person absentee voting or registration on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Public test of election equipment will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Council Room at 130 S Main Street in Lodi, WI.
Notice of Public Meeting: Absentee Voting to be Administered
Special Voting Deputies appointed by the City of Lodi will be administering absentee voting for the residents at the following facility for the February 21, 2023 Spring Primary Election:

Wednesday, February 8: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Thursday, February 9: 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day and has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot.
Only observers from each of the two recognized political parties whose candidates for governor or president received the greatest number of votes in the municipality at the most recent general election may accompany the deputies to each facility where absentee voting will take place. The observers may observe the process of absentee ballot distribution in the common areas of the home, facility, or complex. Each party wishing to have an observer present shall submit the name of the observer to the clerk or board of election commissioners no later than the close of business on the last business day prior to the visit.
Family members of residents may be present at the time of voting.
