Inside City Hall
City offices are located in the historic-looking City Hall building on Main Street, right next door to police headquarters. The original design of the building was created by an architect over a hundred years ago and modernized by an architect in the early 2000s in order to achieve an energy efficient building that blends in with the historic downtown area. This building should meet the space needs of city government for a long time to come.
Business at City Hall
The public is welcome to drop in to conduct their business with the city and City Hall is also the official polling place for city residents. In addition, organizations can utilize meeting space in the building
by reservation.
The Council Chambers are located on the second floor of the building. Here the Common Council meets twice a month to pass resolutions and ordinances that shape our city and preserve our Lodi way of life.
City department heads, the City Clerk, and accounting and utility billing staff have their offices on the first floor of the building.
